Coaching and Inclusion, Team Coaching

“Since starting coaching, I have noticed significant growth in my leadership abilities. I have become more self-aware and confident in my decision-making. The sessions have helped me develop a more strategic mind-set, allowing me to anticipate challenges and opportunities more effectively. I have also learnt to use my empathy to add to my strength as opposed to looking at it like a weakness.

It has really influenced the way I connect and collaborate with my team and particularly my stakeholders. I have learned to communicate more clearly and effectively, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and working towards common goals. I have used active listening and seeking feedback without being afraid of the response, which has strengthened my relationships with my team and stakeholders. As a result, I feel seen as a leader and more confident in myself. I have been able to drive higher levels of performance and engagement, and this has led to increased productivity and better outcomes and a more comprehensive line of sight when working with others.

The personalised feedback and guidance I have received and the fact that Faiza made me feel so safe and listened to throughout all my sessions. It really has helped me identify my strengths and areas for improvement and provided actionable strategies to enhance my leadership skills. The opportunity for self-reflection and growth has been incredibly meaningful and I truly feel incredibly strong in myself personally and professionally.

My experience with Faiza as a coach has been exceptional. Faiza is insightful, supportive, and highly skilled at helping leaders unlock their potential. Her coaching style is both challenging and encouraging, which has pushed me to grow and develop in ways I never thought possible. I would highly encourage other leaders to explore coaching with Faiza because she has a unique ability to connect with individuals and tailor her approach to meet their specific needs. Her coaching has been a transformative experience for me, and I believe it can be equally beneficial for others. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity.”

“I just wanted to say thank you! The work I have done with you has been transformational for me on so many levels. I feel like I have a completely different sense of awareness/ context and I believe I would not have got this new dream role without your input. I cannot underestimate the conversations we had.”

– LW, Global Human Rights Director at Multinational FMCG, Coaching

I have become more confident in my decision-making. Although I have always been able to make decisions quickly, upon assuming this position, I initially second-guessed myself or relied more on others' feedback rather than my own information, experience, and intuition. While I still actively gather additional information to support a decision, I now feel confident when choosing a path forward. This confidence is reflected in how I implement decisions and communicate them, strengthening my leadership. Additionally, I am embracing my own personality more, being open and allowing my humour and empathy to shape a distinct leadership style.

The coaching has enhanced my effectiveness with my team, key stakeholders, and the DEI council that I am part of. Through the coaching I feel have gained more respect from key stakeholder as I’m now more direct and open and more confident about demonstrating the skills and experience I have. In terms of my team, it is helping me coach them and provide them with more direct and actional feedback.

The coaching process helped me address feelings of being an imposter and a loss of confidence that had accumulated over the past few years. Discussing daily work experiences and reflecting on situations provided valuable insights. Being asked how I felt about various situations was challenging yet highly effective; it prompted me to delve deeper into my emotions and identify ways to overcome obstacles and progress.

You are an exceptional coach. Working with you marked the first occasion I have truly invested in myself, and it has been entirely worthwhile. You possess a unique ability to meticulously guide individuals towards understanding their weaknesses, identifying obstacles, and recognizing factors that may be hindering their progress. Furthermore, you assist them in piecing together this awareness to discover new methods of working and determine the necessary steps for improvement.  I would recommend you to other leaders and have already spoken very highly of you to other leaders.

– Krystyna Godbout, Senior Director of Global Marketing Communications, Global BioTechnology Leader, Coaching & Inclusion

“The coaching as part of the Leadership Team Coaching Programme has been transformational. It has been pivotal in developing a stronger sense of trust in myself as a leader. I am much more present and able to take risks that I held back on before. I have learnt to lean into my vulnerability and uniqueness and see it as a strength rather than an aspect of myself I need to overcome. I would describe it as a chemical reaction, the separate elements have come together to create a new me that was always there but not in view. I have become a more potent version of myself. Over the past year I have made key strategic decisions that have resulted in substantial business savings and doubling headcount in new geographies. I have created a culture in my team where talented people want to stay and I have been able to move through organisational obstacles much faster. I have learnt what true collaboration is- to discover the outcome together rather than getting people to a point- in this way we get the best outcome. My family have also noticed the difference and there have been some unexpected results such as success in creative projects I have been involved in outside my leadership role. I would 100% recommend Faiza, I would also recommend that anyone going in commit to be open and honest to dig into your own self to get the best back – the more you give of yourself to the experience the stronger the impact on your day-to-day improvement will become.”

– Craig Hazeldine, Global Head Marketing Operations, Global BioTechnology Leader, Team Coaching

“Since our work together with the Marketing Leadership Team, I am more confident in my leadership approach. I’m less hesitant to speak up and offer my perspective. I better understand and appreciate the value that I bring to the organisation.I am more comfortable and confident in my stakeholder relationships. The most valuable aspects of the coaching process were the discussions about my background and upbringing that influenced my behaviours in my work. The coaching went beyond the aspects of my day job and helped me explore and understand the reasons behind those behaviours. I would whole-heartedly recommend coaching with Faiza to other leaders. I very much enjoyed my sessions with Faiza. I appreciated her empathetic approach to exploring difficult topics and her insights.”

Culture

“As I look back on my time in London for the Culture Certification Programme,I realise two important things.Firstly, if you intentionally create space and listen actively you can find both the problem and the solution in the same room. And secondly who you learn with and from is equally important. This was a clear validation that good people can come together during challenging times and filled with uncertainty and leave BETTER. I feel hopeful knowing that this time spent with these incredible people will positively impact so many lives” Blynda Stephens

“Learning with this group to work with a new tool to improve my ability to articulate and engage with people from all walks of life has empowered me with another level of confidence to believe collectively change can happen if we choose to embrace and work with all the good and bad that cultures bring to the process of change. And above all if we who believe in humanity first never retreat from pouring hope where it is least found in days of despair and hurt.” Tatjana San Luis

“I feel I have tapped into a new superpower. Being able to zoom out, to get up on the balcony, intentionally leaving behind my own judgements to assess what is really happening in the organisation’s culture and value system. To learn to do this together, with the wisdom of the group only made the learning more powerful. I’m hopeful to find my place in helping my team get from here to there together” Nicole

“Peter Drucker once famously said " Culture eats strategy for breakfast."   I believed it. I knew it.  But last week I experienced the power understanding and harnessing our values plays in building and healing cultures that can sustain strategy.  In conversations on equity and inclusion, hopelessness has played a villain recently.  But my heart has new hope, because I learned this new skill.  We have every reason to keep believing for a better world.  The good thing is, it starts with us.” Felicia Scott

“In a world of diversity that’s on fire, finding it in our hearts to value and respect all the beauty it brings can be laborious, and sometimes impossible, to say the least. But after spending time this week in London, acquiring skills,  exploring the impact and importance of transforming culture, with like minded humans, who possess a passion for humanity, gives me more than hope-it gives me a new lease on the undeniable change we can and must make!” Akemi Haynie

“Our time together more than met my expectations – it is one of the best pieces of development during my career.. We had a really nice vibe and, while it was two very long days with commuting thrown in, I was gutted we didn't do more of it. Faiza's ability to make some complicated data and analysis simple to interpret and use; also her ability to inject real world experience and storytelling into the topic.” (NHS In-House Programme)

“As we bear witness to the complex nature of global challenges, from poverty and inequality to human rights issues, it has become clear to me the crucial role leadership transformation plays in addressing these multifaceted issues. This past week in London left me hopeful and re-determined for the journey ahead” Jay
